Kronospan presents Slim Line, its new range of ultra-thin 12 mm worktops designed for high-end interior design and demanding furniture applications. These surfaces stand out for their sleek, contemporary look, with no need for additional edging thanks to a continuous design that ensures an elegant, seamless finish — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, tables or desks.

Made from high-performance compact materials, Slim Line worktops offer exceptional resistance to heat, moisture, impact and stains. The surface is antibacterial, non-porous and easy to clean, making it suitable for both residential and commercial use. The collection is available in two sizes and four core color options.

Featuring 16 exclusive designs and 5 distinctive textures, the collection also introduces two new 2025 finishes — Agra Travertine and Babylon Slate — both enhanced with the new Lava (LV) texture, which offers a matte, rugged feel inspired by natural granite.

On May 8, Kronospan hosted a technical event at its Design Center in Barcelona under the theme “Innovation and Responsible Design”, with a focus on sustainability in interior design. The event brought together architects, designers, and manufacturers to explore environmental regulations, circular economy practices, and conscious material selection.

The presentations covered key topics such as the industrialization of housing, the strategic importance of choosing sustainable materials, and upcoming regulations related to carbon footprint reporting. The event also featured the launch of the new Kronodesign Trend Collection, offering creative and functional solutions tailored to different styles and environments.

The day concluded with a networking brunch in the showroom, where attendees had the opportunity to interact with materials firsthand, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional connections in an inspiring design setting.

Set within the historic Charterhouse, Viccarbe presents a curated selection of new designs that embody honest design, noble materials, and collaborations with world-renowned designers.
